This term has been used in various ways. We use it to mean cleaning the house that we live in. We use it to mean getting rid of unwanted people from a room. We use it to mean cleaning out the things in our life that hinder us from making progress. It is also used when a person comes in rage or anger after a particular person and it results in the entire room clearing out to avoid the outraged person. Just that one phrase means all that.
Today I want to use it in terms of getting rid of those things in your life that has held you back for years. You see them. You think of how your life would be without them, yet they are still present. You want them gone, but don't know how to "clean house."
No, I don't have the precise method for you to be free. What I am about to share is just practical everyday ideas. First of all. Make the decision. Without making a decision to rid your self of these things, they will always persist. I know you may be thinking that you have already made the decision. Well, have you? Really, have you made a decision or have you just thought about it continually? You see, making a decision is a one time thought. You think, I am going to get this junk out of my life. Next, you agree with that thought. You say that thought out loud. You say that thought to yourself out loud until you agree with it. Once you agree with the thought - accept it as yours. Next, act on that thought.
Do something to prove to yourself that you have taken possession of the thought. Do anything so that you are convinced that you mean business. Don't make another phone call to a particular person. Read your mail. Clean out the chair in the room. Do something to start the ball rolling.
Next, continue. Continue doing one little something to keep your word to yourself that you mean the decision you made. Keep your word to yourself.
That's all. I'm not taking a lot of your time up. I just want to help you get over some of those humps that you have tried so long to get over and failed. My joy is helping someone else life to change. I realize I don't know whose life is changing unless they comment to the blogs, but I take it by faith. I just believe that others are reading the blogs and doing these practical things to live better lives.

Living is a choice
We are given a body by God to live in while we are on the earth. Most people want to live a long, strong, prosperous and successful life. In order for that to happen we must take responsibility of what we do to and for our bodies. The body needs a few simple things: water, fruits, vegetables, grain, rest, cleaning, protein, exercise and love. These are very basic necessities of life. Although this is a common knowlege list, it has proven to be difficult for some to adhere to.
Water. How often have you said I know I need to drink water, but I don't like it. What does liking water have to do with drinking it to sustain life? Nothing. Drink water.
Fruits and vegetabels. I have taught many people who refuse to eat many types of fruits and vegetables. Again, we are talking about what the body needs in order for you to continue to live in it in peace. Eat the food the body needs. I understand that we have tast buds to satisfy, so keep trying different ways to prepare the food until you can get your tast buds appeased. Eat the food.
Exercise. For some this is a dirty word. What is wrong with moving that body? You must keep the muscles in your body strong and functioning. You major organs are muscles. They must be exercised to keep them in optimum condition. Your bones must be exercised to keep them strong. Flexibility of the body will help reduce simple sprains, strains and pulls. A regular work out for your body is similar to a oil change or tune up for your car. Regular maintenance works.
I'm not a physician. I'm just a person who believes that life is a choice. You can choose to live long by doing what your body needs or you can choose something else. I encourage you to choose life.
